Terms of Service — Veltrune

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Veltrune ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Veltrune is a goal accountability platform that allows users to set personal goals, purchase virtual in-app tokens, stake those tokens on their goals, and engage accountability partners to review evidence of goal completion.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Veltrune, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to keep credentials secure.

5. Tokens — Virtual In-App Currency

Veltrune tokens are virtual in-app currency. They are not real money, cryptocurrency, or any form of financial instrument. Tokens have no monetary value outside the Veltrune platform and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or transferred for cash or any other currency.

Tokens are used solely to facilitate the goal staking mechanic within the Service. When you purchase tokens, you are purchasing a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use those tokens within the platform.

Tokens never expire while your account is active.
Staked tokens are locked until the associated goal is resolved.
If a goal is not completed, staked tokens are locked for 3 months and may be recovered by completing a redemption goal.
Tokens are non-transferable between accounts.

6. Payments

All token purchases are processed in USD through our payment processor, Paddle. By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle's terms and conditions. All sales are subject to our Refund Policy.

Prices displayed are in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to change at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Accountability Partners

Veltrune connects goal-setters with accountability partners who review submitted evidence. Partners are independent users and are not employees or agents of Veltrune. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or fairness of any partner's review.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Submit false or fraudulent evidence for goal completion.
Abuse, harass, or threaten other users or accountability partners.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions.
Use automated tools to interact with the Service without authorization.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Veltrune and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any portion of the Service without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veltrune shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including any loss of tokens or virtual items.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any unused tokens may be forfeited.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
